Flashlamp Pumped Laser Systems (pulsed)

When it comes to raw pulse energy flashlamp pumped lasers cannot be beaten for value for money - even by the latest diode-pumped and fibre laser technology. Multi-Joule pulse energies are available at wavelengths ranging from the UV to the infrared in ruggedised compact systems. Pulse widths range from picoseconds to nanoseconds with repetition rates up to 30Hz. Lasers with pulse energies of tens of Joules and pulsewidths from femtoseconds to microseconds are available from 266nm in the deep UV to 5um in the mid infrared part of the spectrum.



PL2140 These picosecond Nd:YAG lasers produce pulse energies up to 110mJ with pulsewidths around 20psec. The output power can be continuously adjusted without changing the beam profile or divergence. Combined with the low jitter of the optical pulse with respect to the sync pulses this laser makes for a reliable and robust system for critical psec laser applications.
SL312 This Nd:YAG laser series utlises Stimulated Brillouin Scattering to produce high power subnanosecond pulses around 100psec. With up to 500mJ of pulse energy available at 1064nm and a near Gaussian spatial profile these systems are ideal for materials research, plasma physics and many other applications.
NL300 This Nd:YAG laser has a maximum pulse energy of 800mJ and excellent pulse to pulse stability. These lasers are an excellent choice for many applications including laser ablation and marking.
NL310 An amplified version of the NL300 with pulse energies of up to 1.6J are available with this series making it ideal for pumping dye, Ti:Sapphire lasers and OPO's. Harmonic generator modules are available and provide increased versatility.
NL300D The NL300D series of lasers are designed to suit most liquid and many air based particle image velocimetry (PIV) applications. Extremely low jitter of the optical pulse with respect to the sync pulse allows for reliable synchronisation of the laser with external equipment.

JPI 3050 This Cr:LiSAF laser produces a short Q-switched output pulse at 850nm. It can deliver up to 60mJ at 30Hz rep rates with 100nsec pulses. In addition to producing high pulse energies in the NIR region this laser can be wavelength tuned from 780nm to 940nm at a reduced pulse energy.
JPI 1050 This Nd:YLF laser produces a short Q-switched output pulse at 1053nm. It can deliver up to 100mJ of pulse energy in < 8nsec pulses and using an unstable resonator, excellent beam quality is produced. Harmonics of the fundamental output are available using add-on modules.
